Add Monitoring Service Group

Select the type of task you would like to monitor a new window will open and you will be able to configure the settings for the monitoring task. For help configuring a task click on the "Show Help" link in the upper right corner of the configuration window.

Recommended frequencies:

1 minute	Use only for mission critical items, diagnostics and to monitor service level agreements.
3-5 minutes	Mission critical items, routers, network cards, etc.
5-15 minutes	Web pages, mail server
20-60 minutes	Cost reduction, web pages, full page checking.
2-4 hours	Cost reduction, Full page and transaction monitoring, Monitoring backup systems
4 hours	Port checks

Always erase a monitored task that you are no longer using to avoid billing errors. It also a good idea to erase tasks that need be changed and create a new task to avoid errors and conflicts.
